Michael’s career in Medical Gases spans over 20 years and Michael is the Regional Director for Algas Medical Installations (North East England). Michael has progressed from apprentice Pipefitter to Medical Gas Installation and Supervision, then to the role of Medical Gas Installation Engineer. Michael has worked through all levels of Project leadership to Project Engineer, before applying his significant experience to a Management role.
Michael has been appointed to various NHS England Trusts as the Medical Gas Authorised Person, responsible for overseeing and delivering both policy and procedure whilst undertaking daily roles and responsibilities. With a sound understanding of minor and major projects,
Michael ensures the resources are in place to commence on time and complete on time, to the highest technical, design and quality standards. In addition, Michael helps to deliver a value-engineered solution at each and every stage of a project as liaison between Algas Medical Installations and the client Design team.
